PinkPantheress

PinkPantheress, born on April 18, 2001, is an English singer, songwriter, and record producer from Bath, England. Her stage name is inspired by the Pink Panther, a character from the well-known franchise.

She draws from a variety of influences such as pop-punk, K-pop, and UK dance music, creating a unique mix that includes elements of disco, garage, house, lo-fi, neo-soul, pop, and R&B. Her lyrics are inspired by Lily Allen. In her early teens, she was the lead singer of a My Chemical Romance cover band. She became popular on TikTok in early 2021.

Her singles "Attracted To You" and "Pain," released in January 2021, went viral. Throughout that year, she released singles such as "Passion," "Break It Off," and "Just for me," the latter of which was sampled by Central Cee for his September 2021 track "Obsessed With You." Following her success, she signed with Parlophone and Elektra Records.

Her debut mixtape, *to hell with it*, was released on October 15, 2021, via Parlophone and Elektra Records. It contains her viral hits and five additional tracks about love and heartbreak. The mixtape was re-released in early 2022 with remixes.

In late 2022, she expanded her discography with her first EP, *Take Me Home*, featuring three tracks. Among them, “Boy’s a liar” was later remixed with New York rapper Ice Spice in February 2023, becoming her biggest hit, peaking at number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 and charting globally.

In 2023, she also contributed to the soundtrack for *Barbie: The Album* with her song "Angel." On November 10, 2023, PinkPantheress released her debut studio album, *Heaven knows*.
