Bladee

Bladee, born Benjamin Thage Dag Reichwald on 9 April 1994, is a Swedish rapper and singer whose work has moved between cloud rap, melodic rap, electronic pop and experimental hip-hop. Raised in Stockholms län, he formed the Drain Gang collective in 2013 with childhood friends Ecco2k, Thaiboy Digital and Whitearmor. He began releasing music that year and drew wider attention through collaborations with Yung Lean and the Sad Boys circle.

His early releases established a run of closely connected solo and collaborative projects. Bladee issued his debut mixtape, Gluee, in 2014, followed by his debut album Eversince in 2016. In 2017, he released Working on Dying, a collaborative mixtape with the production group of the same name. The following year brought Red Light and Icedancer, while his music continued to be closely associated with Drain Gang’s network of vocalists and producers.

Bladee released three projects in 2020: Exeter, 333 and Good Luck, the latter a collaborative album with producer Mechatok. His fifth studio album, The Fool, arrived in 2021 and received critical praise. That year also saw him exhibit his first solo collection of paintings, Real Sprin9, and collaborate on a collection with the American-Swedish clothing brand GANT. He had previously become art director for Yung Lean’s Sadboys Gear clothing line in 2017.

In 2022, Bladee reunited with Ecco2k for the collaborative album Crest, then released his sixth solo album, Spiderr. He worked with Skrillex and Yung Lean on several singles in 2023. The following year brought Psykos, a collaborative album with Yung Lean, and the solo album Cold Visions; Bladee also appeared on the remix of Charli XCX’s “Rewind.” In 2024, he announced his departure from longtime label and management company Year0001. In 2026, he released his eighth solo album, Sulfur Surfer.
