LE SSERAFIM

Le Sserafim are a South Korean girl group formed by Source Music, a Hybe sub-label, whose early releases quickly brought major domestic and international results. The group debuted on May 2, 2022, with the extended play Fearless. Its title track reached the top ten of South Korea’s Circle Digital Chart and received platinum streaming certifications in both South Korea and Japan.

Originally assembled as a six-member group, Le Sserafim included Sakura Miyawaki, Kim Chaewon, Huh Yunjin, Kazuha, Hong Eunchae, and Kim Garam. Garam left in July 2022, and the group has since continued as a five-piece consisting of Sakura, Chaewon, Yunjin, Kazuha, and Eunchae. Sakura and Chaewon had previously been members of IZ*ONE, while Yunjin had represented Pledis Entertainment on the 2018 Mnet survival program Produce 48, which also included Sakura and Chaewon as participants.

Their second EP, Antifragile, arrived in October 2022. It became Le Sserafim’s first release to sell more than a million copies and made them, at the time, the fastest K-pop girl group to debut on the US Billboard 200. Like “Fearless,” the EP’s lead single reached the top ten on the Circle Digital Chart and earned platinum streaming certifications in South Korea and Japan. In January 2023, the group made its Japanese debut with the single “Fearless.”

Le Sserafim released their first studio album, Unforgiven, in 2023. It became their first number-one album on the Circle Album Chart and their first top-ten album on the Billboard 200. Its singles “Unforgiven” and “Eve, Psyche & the Bluebeard’s Wife” each peaked at number two in South Korea, while both were certified gold for streaming in Japan. Later that year, their first English single, “Perfect Night,” became the group’s first number-one song on the Circle Digital Chart, where it held the top spot for six weeks.

The EPs Easy, Crazy, and Hot each debuted in the top ten of the Billboard 200. The group also mounted the Easy Crazy Hot Tour in 2025 and 2026, a run that became one of the highest-grossing K-pop tours of 2025.
