Founded in 1999 by Robert Luis (A&R) and Paul Jonas (Label Manager), Tru Thoughts is a Brighton-based record label built on the success of their well-regarded Brighton club nights, including the legendary phonic:hoop. Initially operated from under Rob’s stairs, they have since moved to some (slightly) nicer office space and marked their 10th anniversary in 2009.
