Kelela is an American singer, songwriter, and producer with Ethiopian heritage. She dropped her debut mixtape Cut 4 Me in October 2013 and followed up with an EP in October 2015 titled Hallucinogen. Both projects received critical acclaim.
Following collaborations with artists like Gorillaz and especially Solange on the final track “Scales” from her eagerly awaited album A Seat At The Table, Kelela quickly gained international recognition. Her new fans gravitated towards the seductive lead single “LMK” from her much-anticipated debut album Take Me Apart, released in October 2017.
