Lil Yachty
Miles Parks McCollum, born on August 23, 1997, in Mableton, Georgia, is widely known as Lil Yachty. He is an American rapper and singer hailing from Atlanta, Georgia, recognized for his humorous lyrics and distinctive melodies, as well as his signature cherry-red hair.
Lil Yachty gained immense popularity in 2016 when his track "1Night" from the Summer Songs EP went viral after being featured in a comedy sketch. Shortly thereafter, he released the Lil Boat mixtape, which includes an extended version of "1Night" and a remix of "Minnesota" featuring Young Thug, Quavo, and Skippa Da Flippa.
Signed under Migos' management team, Quality Control, Yachty combines Atlanta's signature trap beats with his unique auto-tuned vocals. The Lil Boat mixtape showcases his dual persona: the light-hearted, melodic Lil Yachty and the skilled rapper Lil Boat.
Yachty continued his summer 2016 success with Summer Songs 2, the sequel to the initial EP. In subsequent years, he released his debut album Teenage Emotions, followed by other works such as Lil Boat 2, Nuthin' 2 Prove, Lil Boat 3, and Let’s Start Here.
