Pearson Sound
David Kennedy, known professionally as Pearson Sound, is a London-based electronic dance music producer, mix engineer, and DJ. Working across club-focused styles, he has been associated with a hybrid approach that draws on house, dubstep, UK funky, UK garage, and jungle.
Kennedy is also connected to Hessle Audio, the label he co-founded, and he has released music under several aliases, including Ramadanman, Maurice Donovan, and DJ Harlow. Under the Pearson Sound name, his work has been discussed in the context of contemporary UK dance music, with a 2024 review of his EP Which Way Is Up describing it in strongly evaluative terms.
