CamelPhat
CamelPhat's 2017 single “Cola” brought the Liverpool duo their widest breakthrough, reaching No. 3 on the UK Dance Chart and No. 18 on the UK Singles Chart. The track, made with Elderbrook, also led to a Grammy nomination.
Formed in Liverpool in 2006, CamelPhat consists of Dave Whelan and Mike Di Scala. Before adopting the CamelPhat name, the pair released music through a range of aliases, including Shake N' Jack, The Bassline Hustlers, Whelan & Di Scala, Da Mode, Wheels & Disco, Pawn Shop, Men From Mars, High Society and Mancini.
The duo work across house-rooted electronic music, including deep house, tech house, progressive house and melodic techno. Following “Cola,” they also remixed AU/RA’s “Panic Room.” CamelPhat have released two studio albums alongside numerous singles and EPs, with releases connected to labels including Defected Records, RCA Records, Astralwerks and When Stars Align.
