Anyma
Matteo Milleri, known as Anyma, is an Italian-American DJ, electronic music producer and artist whose work is closely associated with melodic techno. He is also one half of Tale of Us and a co-founder of the Afterlife music platform, linking his solo output to one of the key outlets for the melodic techno sound.
Anyma began his solo discography with the EP Sentient, released through Afterlife in June 2021. He followed it the next month with Claire, an EP issued by Rose Avenue Records. The release included a collaboration with Janus Rasmussen and vocals from Delhia de France on its title track, alongside “Sonder” and “Forevermore.”
His first full-length album, Genesys, arrived in 2023. It became the opening installment of a trilogy continued by Genesys II in 2024 and completed with The End of Genesys in 2025. Across this period, Anyma collaborated with artists including Grimes, Sevdaliza, Ellie Goulding, Yeat, Lana Del Rey, FKA Twigs and GEM.
Beyond recorded music, Anyma’s project has incorporated digital art and extended-reality work. Around the release of Claire, he presented an NFT music video for the title track in collaboration with Berlin-based artist Marigoldff and IOR50 Studio.
