Neo-Synthpop Artists

Singles by Hot Chip and Róisín Murphy place synth-pop hooks in a broader electronic setting, with programmed rhythms, bright keyboard lines and danceable pulse carrying the songs. Neo-synthpop keeps the direct melodic focus of synthpop but often adds the cooler textures of electronica and indietronica, alongside the club-minded momentum of electropop and alternative dance.
