Little Dragon

Little Dragon's 2011 album Ritual Union landed at number 41 on Rolling Stone's list of the 50 Best Albums of 2011, while Clash placed it at number 31 among its Top 40 Albums of the year. The Gothenburg group had formed in 1996 and brings together Yukimi Nagano on vocals and percussion, Erik Bodin on drums, Fredrik Wallin on bass, and Håkan Wirenstrand on keyboards.

After issuing the double A-side seven-inch single “Twice”/“Test” through Off the Wall in 2006, Little Dragon signed with British independent label Peacefrog Records. Their self-titled debut arrived in August 2007, followed by Machine Dreams in August 2009, which received favourable reviews. Across these releases, the band worked with electronic textures alongside a rhythm section and Nagano's vocal and percussion work.

Nabuma Rubberband, Little Dragon's fourth studio album, was released by Because Music in May 2014 and received critical acclaim. It was nominated for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 57th Annual Grammy Awards. The group followed it with Season High on 14 April 2017 and New Me, Same Us on 27 March 2020. Their latest album, Slugs of Love, was released on 7 July 2023.
