Fabric Records is the label connected to London’s fabric nightclub, the Farringdon institution founded in 1999 on Charterhouse Street opposite Smithfield Market. Its releases extend the club’s dancefloor focus beyond the room itself, with artists including Laurent Garnier, Daniel Avery, Red Axes, DJ Tennis, Eliza Rose, Dot Major, ABSOLUTE. and NIGHT manoeuvres.

The label sits within a club whose reputation has been recognised internationally: fabric was voted World Number 1 Club in DJ Magazine’s Top 100 Clubs Poll in 2007 and 2008, and ranked second in 2009, 2010 and 2017. In 2016, Islington Council revoked the venue’s licence after two drug-related deaths. A campaign to save fabric followed, and the club was allowed to reopen under increased security measures and restrictions.
