ODESZA

ODESZA is the electronic duo of Harrison Mills and Clayton Knight, who perform individually as Catacombkid and BeachesBeaches. Originating in Bellingham, Washington, the pair formed in 2012 shortly before graduating from Western Washington University. Their debut album, Summer's Gone, arrived later that year and drew acclaim within the underground electronic music community.

The duo followed with the 2013 EP My Friends Never Die before releasing their second album, In Return, on September 9, 2014. The record marked ODESZA's first release through Ninja Tune and its Counter Records imprint. In 2016, the RAC remix of “Say My Name” brought Mills and Knight their first Grammy nomination, for Best Remixed Recording, Non-Classical at the 58th Annual Grammy Awards.

ODESZA's third studio album, A Moment Apart, was released on September 8, 2017. It reached number three on the Billboard 200 and topped Billboard's Top Electronic/Dance Albums chart. The album received a nomination for Best Dance/Electronic Album at the 60th Annual Grammy Awards, while “Line of Sight” was nominated for Best Dance Recording. The duo was also nominated for Producer of the Year at the 2017 Electronic Music Awards. In 2018, Billboard placed ODESZA at number 10 on its Dance 100 ranking of dance musicians.

In addition to their recording work, Mills and Knight founded Foreign Family Collective, a label that distributes music and visual art from other artists. Their fourth studio album, The Last Goodbye, was released through Ninja Tune on July 22, 2022, and later received a Best Dance/Electronic Album nomination for the 65th Grammy Awards.
