Tiësto

Tiësto, born Tijs Michiel Verwest, is a Dutch musician, DJ, and record producer specializing in electronic dance music.

In 1994, Tijs Verwest adopted the pseudonym Tiësto. Today, this DJ and dance music producer is a GRAMMY Award-winning, platinum-certified, international icon.

He is the only artist who has ever been named “The Greatest DJ of All Time“ by Mixmag, “#1 DJ“ by Rolling Stone, and “The Godfather of EDM“ by Billboard.

In 2004, he made history by becoming the first DJ to perform at the Olympic Games and continues to be a highly sought-after headliner at events like Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Ultra, and Tomorrowland.

From his notable residency at Hakkasan to achieving crossover success, Tiësto has set a precedent for success in today’s dance music industry.
