Owned by Arny Bink, DJ Tiësto co-owned Black Hole Recordings until 2009 when he sold his share to Arny.
Black Hole Recordings was established in the fall of 1997. Known for DJ Tiësto and his Magik and Space Age compilations, Black Hole began releasing their own magical stories on vinyl.

The company also operated a record store named Magik: The Record Store at Nieuwstraat 46 in Breda, which closed in 2006. The shop's logo matched the first editions of the Magik mix compilations.
