Hot Since 82

Hot Since 82 is the alias of British DJ and producer Daley Padley, whose house-focused sets and productions move through deep house, tech house and minimal. He began DJing as a teenager, including long Sunday sessions at a hometown club that developed into a local afterparty fixture.

In 2010, an unreleased work-in-progress was played from Padley’s phone after the music cut out at an Ibiza afterparty. The response led him to send the track, “Let It Ride,” to Danish producer Noir, who released it through Noir Music in 2011. The record reached number three on Beatport’s deep house chart. Padley has released music as Hot Since 82 since 2012 and has worked with labels including Defected Records, Hot Creations, Saved Records and Knee Deep In Sound.
