John Summit
John Summit is the stage name of Chicago-born American DJ and producer John Schuster. He broke through in 2020 with “Deep End,” a track that sampled Fousheé’s song of the same name and became Beatport’s longest-running number-one record of that year. His festival appearances have included Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival in Las Vegas, and Detroit’s Movement festival.
In 2021, he collaborated with Sofi Tukker on “Sun Came Up.” He launched Off The Grid Records the following year; after a trademark dispute, the label was renamed Experts Only Records in 2023. His work spans house, tech house, and techno.
