rusowsky

rusowsky is the stage name of Ruslán Mediavilla, a Spanish singer, songwriter and producer from Fuenlabrada, Madrid. He started lessons at four in the music school run by his Belarusian mother and went on to finish the professional piano conservatory.

He began putting music online in 2019, and by 2021 El País was naming him as part of Madrid’s new bedroom pop wave. He produced his debut album, Daisy, himself. It moves between electronic pop and alternative reggaeton. Warner released it on 23 May 2025, and it reached No. 1 in Spain and earned a Latin Grammy nomination for Best Alternative Music Album. The Daisy Tour opened at Madrid’s Movistar Arena that September and sold out Brooklyn Steel in April 2026.

His profile outside Spain jumped with “BbY WOW,” recorded with Karol G and Judeline for Karol G’s album No Me Arrepiento de Sentir Tanto. It reached No. 1 on the Billboard Global 200 on the chart dated 12 September 2026, had spent six weeks there by the chart dated 24 October, and gave him his first Hot 100 top 10.
