Marco Faraone
Marco Faraone is an Italian DJ and producer associated with dark techno and Italian techno. He is also the founder of the label UNCAGE, a platform tied closely to his work as a producer and to the harder-edged end of contemporary techno.
Faraone’s recorded output has circulated through a range of prominent techno imprints. His releases have appeared on Drumcode and its offshoot Truesoul, labels closely linked with modern European techno’s big-room circuit, as well as on Turbo Recordings, a long-running home for tougher, more abrasive club music. He has also released on DCLTD, reflecting a catalogue that moves between peak-time functionality and more stripped, driving material without leaving the techno framework.
In addition to original productions, Faraone has contributed remix work, extending his role beyond solo releases and into reinterpretations of other artists’ tracks.
