Anne-Marie Rose Nicholson is an English singer and songwriter whose appearance on Clean Bandit’s 2016 single “Rockabye” brought her to number one in 27 territories, including the United Kingdom. Born on 7 April 1990 in Essex, she built a run of commercial pop hits across the following decade, including “Alarm,” “Ciao Adios,” “Friends,” “2002,” “Rewrite the Stars,” “Don’t Play,” “Kiss My (Uh-Oh),” “Psycho,” “Baby Don’t Hurt Me” and “Unhealthy.”

Signed to Asylum Records since 2015, Anne-Marie released her debut album, Speak Your Mind, in 2018. The record reached number three on the UK Albums Chart and included the singles “Friends” and “2002.” Her second album, Therapy, followed in 2021 and peaked at number two in the UK, as did her 2023 third album, Unhealthy. Her recordings move between pop, R&B, electronic and dance-pop production, with collaborations forming a recurring part of her catalogue.

Anne-Marie received four nominations at the 2019 Brit Awards, including Best British Female Solo Artist. She has since accumulated ten Brit Award nominations, alongside nominations for a Billboard Music Award and a Grammy Award. Away from recording, she served as a coach on the television singing competition The Voice UK from 2021 to 2023.
