Jacob Collier

Jacob Collier, born August 2, 1994, is a London-based singer, multi-instrumentalist, arranger, and composer. Raised in a family of musicians, he gained attention after uploading his arrangement of Stevie Wonder's "Don’t You Worry 'Bout a Thing" on YouTube, catching Quincy Jones' eye with his talent and distinctive style.

In late 2015, Collier began work on his debut album, "In My Room," which he released on July 1, 2016. Following its release, he embarked on an international tour titled the "One Man Show," concluding it on December 18, 2017.

In 2017, Collier received Grammy awards for Best Arrangement, Instrumental Or A Cappella and Best Arrangement, Instruments And Vocals, for "You and I" and "Flintstones," respectively. He achieved similar success in 2020 with the songs "Moon River" and "All Night Long."

He is highly regarded in both media and online music theory communities as a musical genius, praised for balancing the academic, intellectual, and emotional dimensions of music. A notable example of his musical insights is captured in an interview with June Lee:
