Caleb Zackery "Don" Toliver, born on June 12, 1994, is a rapper, singer, and songwriter hailing from Houston, Texas. Toliver started his musical journey in May 2017 with the release of the collaborative mixtape *Playa Familia* alongside friend and fellow rapper Yungjosh93.

Toliver's solo career took off shortly after with the release of his debut singles "I Gotta" and "Diva" in November and December, respectively. These songs captured the attention of Atlantic Records, leading to his signing with the label in March 2018. Under Atlantic's banner, he released his major-label debut album, *Donny Womack*.

During this time, Toliver also drew the attention of Travis Scott, another Houston native, who invited him to Hawaii for sessions on Scott's upcoming third studio album, *ASTROWORLD*. Toliver featured on the album's thirteenth track, "CAN’T SAY," which further inspired him while working on *Donny Womack*.

On August 3, 2018, the same day *ASTROWORLD* was released, Travis Scott endorsed Toliver on Twitter. Coincidentally, *Donny Womack* was dropped on August 2, 2018, just a day before.

Genius had an interview with Toliver ahead of *ASTROWORLD*’s release, discussing his relationship with Travis, the session experience in Hawaii, and his aspirations for *Donny Womack* as his career gained momentum. When asked about meeting Travis, Toliver shared how someone from his team reached out to Travis’s camp, eventually leading to their collaboration.

In May 2019, Toliver released "No Idea," the lead single for his March 2020 debut studio album, *Heaven Or Hell*. The song gained traction on TikTok through popular lip-sync and dance videos.

In December 2019, JACKBOYS and Travis Scott released their compilation album, *JACKBOYS*, featuring Toliver on the track "Had Enough" with Quavo and Offset. He also contributed to "WHAT TO DO?" and provided vocals on "GANG GANG" alongside Travis, Luxury Tax, and Sheck Wes.

On January 17, 2020, Don Toliver advanced further in his career with a feature on the track "No Regrets" from Eminem's eleventh studio album, *Music to Be Murdered By*. D.A. Doman, the song’s producer, recruited Toliver at the last moment to sing the chorus.

Toliver released his debut studio album, *Heaven Or Hell*, on March 13, 2020, through Cactus Jack Records and Atlantic Records, featuring collaborations with Travis Scott, Kaash Paige, Quavo, Offset, and Sheck Wes.
