BADBADNOTGOOD is a post-bop instrumental hip hop jazz trio hailing from Toronto, Ontario. The group features Leland Whitty on saxophones and keys, Chester Hansen on bass, and Alexander Sowinski on drums. Founding keyboard player Matthew Tavares left the band in 2019, and the separation was reportedly not amicable. The trio is renowned for their renditions of hip hop tracks and their collaborations with Tyler The Creator and Frank Ocean.
