Sven Wunder
Under the name Sven Wunder, Stockholm composer and musician Nils Joel Danell has released a series of instrumental records that blend psychedelic rock with European jazz-funk. Since 2019, he has issued four albums as Sven Wunder, alongside work released under the name Musette.
Born on 10 March 1984 in Engelbrekts parish in Stockholm County, Danell lives in Stockholm and primarily writes film music. His work as Sven Wunder draws on jazz, folk and neo-psychedelic elements, with Danell credited as a composer, arranger, bassist and keyboard player.
Danell also runs the Piano Piano label with John Henriksson. His Sven Wunder releases have also been associated with Mr Bongo and HABIBI Funk Records.
