Machinedrum
Travis Stewart, better known as Machinedrum, is an American electronic producer and performer from North Carolina. Born March 4, 1982, he has worked across footwork, jungle, drum and bass, juke, glitch, hip hop, IDM and related electronic forms, releasing music under the Machinedrum name as well as Syndrone and Tstewart.
Stewart's collaborative work has been a significant part of his career. With Praveen Sharma, he forms Sepalcure. He is also one half of JETS with Jimmy Edgar, and of Dream Continuum with Jim Coles, who records as Om Unit. Alongside his solo recordings and performances, these projects have placed Stewart in several distinct settings within electronic music.
Machinedrum's releases have appeared through labels including Ninja Tune, VISION, LuckyMe and Swarm Audio. He has also used aliases including Machine Drum, Neon Black, Aden and Meek.
