Ferreck Dawn

Freek Coppens (born 1985), better known as Ferreck Dawn, is a Dutch DJ. He grew up in Veldhoven, North Brabant, exposed to a wide range of music including dance-house. His career in DJing began in the 2000s. In February 2013, he gained recognition for collaborating with Redondo on the single "Tattoo Girl" for Material Records. This track became the label's best-selling release in 2013, maintaining a position in the Beatport Tech House Top 10 for several consecutive weeks.

As of 2021, he is affiliated with renowned labels such as Spinnin’ Records, Toolroom, Material, Nervous, Hey, Sink or Swim, and Defected Records, earning support from prominent DJs like Luciano, Carl Cox, Dubfire, Mark Knight, and others like Steve Angello, Chuckie, and Tiësto.

In 2014, he partnered again with Redondo for the follow-up to "Tattoo Girl," titled “Love Too Deep.” This hit stayed in the Beatport Deep House Top 10 for three months and gained radio support from BBC Radio 1, Tiesto, and Slam FM, where it was declared a Grandslam. "Love Too Deep" also reached number 48 on the UK Singles Chart in September 2014.

As a solo artist, Ferreck Dawn has released charting tracks on Spinnin’ Records, Toolroom, and Nervous Records; contributed to multiple Sensation Compilations, and created remixes for artists like Martin Garrix, Sander van Doorn, DVBBS, Sander Kleinenberg, Funkerman, and René Amesz.

His success attracted attention, and Spinnin’ Records, a major dance label also representing artists like Martin Garrix and Oliver Heldens, signed him exclusively.

With numerous new tracks and remixes on the way and performances planned in Romania, Sweden, the United Kingdom, Spain, and Greece, 2014 marked a significant year of growth for Ferreck Dawn.
