Todd Terry

American house producer and DJ, born April 18, 1967, in Brooklyn, New York.

Acknowledged for his pivotal role in the evolution of New York's house music in the 1980s, his productions are known for their diverse use of samples that mix classic disco and the Chicago sound from the earlier part of the decade. In 1991, he co-founded Freeze Records with Will Socolov, and went on to create In House Records in the early 2000s.
