TSHA’s debut album, Capricorn Sun, was named Album of the Year by DJ Mag and BBC Radio 1 Dance. The British DJ and record producer, born Teisha Matthews on 26 December 1991, has also delivered a BBC Essential Mix and held a residency at DC-10.
Born and raised in Fareham, United Kingdom, Matthews makes electronic music spanning house, progressive house, UK house and indie pop. Recording as TSHA, she has released music through labels including Ninja Tune, Jackfruit, Major Recordings, Warner Records and Mad Decent.
Her work has accumulated more than 180 million streams across platforms. TSHA has also received MOBO nominations in the Best Dance Act category.
