Skream
Skream emerged as an early architect of dubstep, helping define the sound as it developed in the UK. Born Oliver Dene Jones on 1 June 1986, he is an English electronic music producer based in Bromley. His records have appeared through British labels including Tempa, Tectonic and Big Apple Records, placing him among the producers central to dubstep's formative period.
Alongside longtime collaborators Artwork and Benga, Skream co-founded Magnetic Man. The trio released its self-titled debut album, Magnetic Man, in 2010, bringing their shared electronic production work into a group format.
Skream has performed across the UK, Europe, the United States, Canada, Australia and Japan. Since 2013, his work has primarily focused on house music and disco, following a period closely associated with dubstep's early development.
