Portugal. The Man

Portugal. The Man is an American rock band originating from Portland, Oregon. The lineup currently includes John Gourley, Zach Carothers, Kyle O'Quin, Jason Sechrist, Eric Howk, and Zoe Manville.

Gourley and Carothers first met and started making music together during high school in Wasilla, Alaska. Since forming Portugal. The Man in 2005, the band has released eight studio albums and three EPs. Their initial two albums came out under Fearless Records. They also put out material on their own imprint Approaching AIRballoons in association with indie label Equal Vision Records. On April 2, 2010, the band signed with Atlantic Records.

In February 2016, the band announced a forthcoming album titled Gloomin' + Doomin', which was eventually shelved due to complications, resulting in their eighth and most successful full-length studio album, Woodstock.

“Feel It Still” gained mainstream success, marking Portugal. The Man's first entry into Billboard's Hot 100, peaking at No. 4. The song won a Grammy for “Best Pop Duo/Group Performance.”
