Monstercat
Monstercat is an independent EDM label founded in July 2011 by Mike Darlington and Ari Paunonen. Originally known as Monstercat Media, the Canadian-based company built its release model around non-exclusive, single-track agreements, allowing artists to work freely with other labels and brands.
Its catalogue spans multiple strands of electronic music, with artists including WHIPPED CREAM, Virtual Riot, Shingo Nakamura, Tokyo Machine, Sullivan King and DIESEL. Monstercat has also developed its own recurring series, including Call of the Wild and the Silk Showcase podcast.
