Alecia Beth Moore, born on September 8, 1979, and professionally known as Pink (stylized as P!nk), is an American singer-songwriter and actress. Initially part of the girl group Choice, she launched her solo career with the single “There You Go” in 2000, featured on her debut album, Can’t Take Me Home. This R&B album achieved double-platinum status in the United States. Pink gained additional fame when collaborating with Lil' Kim, Christina Aguilera, and Mýa on the cover of “Lady Marmalade” for the Moulin Rouge! soundtrack, earning her first Grammy Award and first number-one single on the Billboard Hot 100.
