Kryder

Kryder is the stage name of Christopher Simon Knight, an English DJ and record producer whose tracks “K2,” “Aphrodite,” and his remix of Kölsch’s “All That Matters,” featuring Troels Abrahamsen, reached No. 1 on Beatport’s Top 100 chart. Born in Manchester on October 28, 1980, Knight has worked across house-focused electronic styles, including progressive, tech, tribal and Latin house.

“Aphrodite” was released through Axtone Records, while “K2” helped establish Kryder as a regular fixture in Beatport’s dance music charts. Other singles, including “Treasured Soul” and “Jericho,” spent multiple weeks in the Beatport Top 100. His releases have also appeared through labels including Black Hole Recordings, SIZE Records, Spinnin’ Records and Toolroom Trax.

Alongside his work as a producer and DJ, Kryder owns Kryteria Records, giving the project an outlet for its own releases. His catalog centers on club-built house music, moving between progressive scale, rhythmic tribal elements and electronic dance production.
