Kenny Beats
Kenny Beats is the professional name of Kenneth Charles Blume III, an American record producer, DJ, audio engineer and songwriter from Greenwich, Connecticut. He has worked across hip-hop, trap and electronic music, releasing collaborative projects with artists including Denzel Curry, KEY!, ALLBLACK, Q Da Fool and Rico Nasty.
He created The Cave, a series in which guests freestyle over beats he makes in under 15 minutes. An episode featuring comedian Zack Fox led to the song “Jesus Is the One (I Got Depression).” Before concentrating on rap production, Blume was one half of the electronic duo LOUDPVCK with Ryan Marks; the project was retired in 2018.
