HUGEL
HUGEL first broke internationally with his 2018 remix of “Bella Ciao,” a viral hit that brought the French DJ, producer and remixer to a wide audience. Born Florent Hugel on 4 December 1987, he has since built a catalogue spanning house-rooted dance music, with work that also draws on Latin and Afro-house styles.
His original track “Morenita” helped popularize Latin house, while his 2024 single “I Adore You” became one of his best-known releases. Alongside his own recordings, HUGEL has worked as a remixer and collaborator for artists including David Guetta, Robin Schulz and J Balvin. His releases have appeared through labels including Defected Records, Cr2 Records, Virgin, Higher Ground and Make The Girls Dance Records.
