Troye Sivan is a South African-born Australian artist. Discovered by his manager at a young age through his personal YouTube channel, which as of August 2020, boasts over 7.45 million subscribers, he starred in X-Men Origins: Wolverine and the Spud film series.

In 2013, he released his original song “The Fault In Our Stars,” which led to him signing a record deal with EMI Australia under Universal. The following year, he dropped the TRXYE – EP, debuting at #5 on the Billboard 200.

On July 25, 2015, he announced his second major-label EP, Wild. This EP preceded the release of his debut album, Blue Neighbourhood, with all Wild songs being included in at least one edition of Blue Neighbourhood.

Blue Neighbourhood enjoyed success globally, peaking at #7 on the Billboard 200 in 2015. In November 2015, “Youth” was released as the album’s second single, achieving Platinum status with 1 million copies sold in the US.

Troye released his second studio album, Bloom, on August 31, 2018. The album was both a commercial and critical success, debuting at #4 on the Billboard Charts and appearing on various year-end lists from Time, The Guardian, and others.

In 2020, amidst a pandemic, he released the In A Dream EP with a more experimental sound, preceded by the singles “Take Yourself Home”, “Easy”, and “Rager teenager!”.

Troye began 2021 by releasing “YOU” on April 16, a collaboration with Tate McRae and DJ Regard, which became pop radio’s most added track following its debut. In June, he released the full version of the 50-second track “could cry just thinkin about you.”

On October 13, 2023, Troye released his third studio album Something to Give Each Other. This album was preceded by the singles “Rush”, “Got Me Started”, and “One of Your Girls,” released on July 13, September 20, and October 13, respectively.
