R3HAB

R3HAB, the stage name of Fadil El Ghoul, is a Dutch-Moroccan DJ and record producer born in Breda on 2 April 1986. Active since the late 2000s, he emerged through Dutch house and electro-house productions, including the track “Mrkrstft,” made with Hardwell. His early work was associated with a darker strain of Dutch house, with influences that have been compared to early psytrance and gabber. El Ghoul has cited the Israeli electronic duo Infected Mushroom as an influence.

Afrojack signed R3HAB to Wall Recordings, where he became associated with a new generation of Dutch dance producers alongside artists such as Afrojack and Chuckie. He received the International Dance Music Award for Best Breakthrough Artist during Miami’s 2012 Winter Music Conference. In 2018, DJ Mag placed him at number 12 in its Top 100 DJs poll.

R3HAB has released two full-length studio albums and maintained a broad remix career across pop, rock, electronic and international acts. His remix credits include songs by 5 Seconds of Summer, Katy Perry, Arashi, Everglow, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, Rihanna, Rammstein, Steve Aoki, The Chainsmokers, For King & Country and KSI. His releases have also appeared through labels including Spinnin’ Records, Tomorrowland Music, STMPD RCRDS and his own CYB3RPVNK imprint.
