R3HAB

Fadil El Ghoul (born in Breda on April 2, 1986), recognized by his stage name R3HAB, is a Dutch DJ and record producer of Moroccan descent. Alongside Afrojack and Chuckie, Fadil is recognized as a proponent of the modern Dutch house subgenre, although his style and sound were often darker, similar to early psytrance or gabber compositions. At the 2012 WMC in Miami, USA, R3HAB received the IDMA Best Breakthrough Artist Award.

Fadil started his career in late 2007 by producing the track “Mrkrstft” with Hardwell. One of the major influences R3HAB mentions is the duo Infected Mushroom, known on the international scene since 1999.

Fadil was signed by the globally-renowned DJ and record producer Afrojack, to his Wall Recordings imprint and is cited as one of its most significant talents.
