Noah Kahan
Noah Berkenkamp Kahan is an indie folk-pop singer/songwriter from Strafford, Vermont.
Having been a musician since childhood, he always dreamed of making music his career. However, it took him a while to achieve that. The early phase of his career involved playing small shows in front of few attendees and receiving minimal exposure, as he mentioned in an interview.
During his senior year of high school, he started releasing songs online with the assistance of a producer and friend. Noah’s first officially released single, “Young Blood,” quickly gained popularity on SoundCloud. His sudden success also attracted the attention of Republic Records, and before releasing even three tracks, he was signed to a label and collaborating with prominent figures in the music industry, such as Joel Little.
In 2018, after releasing his debut EP Hurt Somebody, Noah performed numerous concerts, headlining a European tour in the spring and a world tour in the fall, while also playing some shows in Australia in between and supporting George Ezra and Leon Bridges on their tours. His debut LP album was confirmed to be released in the spring of 2019.
Despite his recent success, Noah remains true to his roots. Through the songs he releases, he addresses feelings like self-doubt and anxiety and sings about his journey in the music industry.
