Niall Horan
Niall James Horan, born 13 September 1993 in Mullingar, Ireland, rose to international prominence as a member of One Direction. The group was formed on The X Factor in 2010 and released five albums, becoming one of the best-selling boy bands of all time. After One Direction declared a hiatus in 2016, Horan began his solo career with Capitol Records.
His debut album, Flicker, arrived in 2017 and debuted at number one in Ireland and the United States, while also reaching the top three in Australia and the United Kingdom. Its first two singles, “This Town” and “Slow Hands”, both reached the top 20 in the UK and US. Horan followed it with Heartbreak Weather in March 2020, an album that reached number one on the UK Albums Chart.
Horan released his third studio album, The Show, in June 2023. The record reached number one in Ireland and the UK and produced the singles “Heaven” and “Meltdown”. His fourth album, Dinner Party, was released in June 2026, with “Dinner Party”, “Little More Time”, and “End of an Era” issued as singles.
A singer, songwriter, musician and multi-instrumentalist, Horan’s solo work has moved through pop, folk and singer-songwriter settings. Outside recording and touring, he has worked as a coach on The Voice, co-founded a golf management agency, and supported charitable causes including autism support and cancer research fundraising.
