Finneas Baird O'Connell, known mononymously as Finneas, is an American singer, songwriter, musician, producer and actor whose work with his sister Billie Eilish has earned eleven Grammy Awards, two Academy Awards and two Golden Globes. Born in Los Angeles on July 30, 1997, he writes and produces across Eilish's catalogue, while maintaining a solo career rooted in indie pop, alternative songwriting and close-recorded pop production.

His partnership with Eilish has brought him 21 Grammy nominations, including recognition in the Big Four categories. He became the youngest recipient of the Grammy Award for Producer of the Year, Non-Classical, and has won Record of the Year twice consecutively. His credits on Eilish's albums and songs have also earned Album of the Year, Best Pop Vocal Album and Best Engineered Album, Non-Classical honors. He and Eilish have won Song of the Year three times, tying the all-time record, while Finneas has also received a Best New Artist nomination for his own work.

Film music has been another major part of that collaboration. Their title song for the 2021 James Bond film No Time to Die won the Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Original Song, as well as the Grammy Award for Best Song Written for Visual Media. In 2024, “What Was I Made For?” brought the pair another Song of the Year Grammy and their second Academy Award and Golden Globe for Best Original Song. They became the youngest two-time Academy Award winners.

As a solo artist, Finneas released the EP Blood Harmony in October 2019. It included “Let’s Fall in Love for the Night,” his most successful solo song, which reached number 17 on the US Billboard Alternative Songs chart. His first studio album, Optimist, arrived through Interscope Records in October 2021, followed by For Cryin’ Out Loud! in 2024. His recordings credit him not only as vocalist and writer but also as a player of piano, bass, percussion, synthesizer and acoustic guitar.

Beyond Eilish, Finneas has worked with artists including Drake, Kid Cudi, Nicki Minaj, Selena Gomez, Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato, Halsey, Justin Bieber, Karol G, Girl in Red, Rosalía, Tove Lo, Ringo Starr and Tate McRae, and has contributed to several film scores. Before his music career reached a wider audience, he also acted in the independent film Life Inside Out and played Alistair in Fox’s musical comedy-drama Glee; he has also appeared on Modern Family.
