Crackazat is the stage name of Ben J. Worrall, a jazz-trained musician and electronic producer whose work sits in deep house and UK house. Coming from a formal background in jazz composition and performance, he has brought that musical grounding into club-focused productions, often foregrounding keys and harmony in a way that reflects his training rather than treating them as secondary to rhythm programming.

Originally from Bristol, England, Worrall relocated to Sweden in 2012. After the move, he began an alliance with the Swedish house label Local Talk, a relationship that helped frame his output within a contemporary European house context while retaining the jazz vocabulary that informs his writing and arranging.

In live settings, Crackazat is known for performances that incorporate keyboard playing and improvisation. Rather than reproducing studio tracks as fixed arrangements, he has been described as performing keyboard solos over improvised reworks of his productions, with the structure of each set shaped in real time. This approach places him in a lineage of electronic artists who treat live performance as a space for variation and interpretation, drawing directly on the improvisational practices of jazz.
