It started when I heard a beat from Cardo, someone I've admired for a long time. He gained recognition with projects like Hearts and Darts and The Sound of Bad Habit. His 2019 mixtape DIE FOR MY BITCH and the breakout single “ORANGE SODA,” which went platinum, made further waves.

In 2021, he dropped The Melodic Blue, his first studio album featuring Kendrick Lamar, Travis Scott, and Don Toliver.

Keem is Kendrick Lamar’s cousin and is affiliated with Kendrick’s company, pgLang.
