Avalon Emerson
Avalon Emerson hails from the desert. Though she now resides in Berlin, the music she creates draws inspiration from the dreamlike expanses and abstract textures of Arizona's Sonoran landscapes.
Her path led her from that sun-scorched state to the epicenter of contemporary dance music, with a significant period spent in San Francisco, where she honed her skills as a DJ in the city's legendary warehouse party scene. In her DJ sets and productions today, she presents a timeless narrative that embodies a love for the sound design of new wave, the ultra-modern feel of techno, the heart of American house, and the vibrancy of rave.
In 2015, she gained momentum with several sets at Panorama Bar and traveled extensively across Europe and North America. However, she's just beginning to reach her full potential, continually surpassing herself with original productions released on Whities, Shtum, Spring Theory, and Icee Hot, as well as her own DJ tool edit series, the Cybernedits.
