ARTY
Arty, also known as Alpha 9, is the recording name of Russian DJ and producer Artem Stolyarov. Born on 28 September 1989 in Engels, Russia, he has worked across progressive house, trance, big room and electronic dance music, releasing music through labels including Armada Music, Anjunabeats and Armind.
Stolyarov has collaborated with a wide range of artists from the trance and pop worlds, including Armin van Buuren, Above & Beyond, BT, Paul van Dyk, Mat Zo, OneRepublic and Matisse & Sadko. His debut album, Glorious, arrived in 2015 and reached number 14 on the US Dance/Electronic Albums chart.
Alongside the Arty name, Stolyarov has used the Alpha 9 alias for his work as a producer and DJ. His catalog connects melodic progressive house and trance with the broader EDM sound heard in his collaborations and releases.
