Anabel Englund

Anabel Englund built her early catalog through a run of dance singles that culminated in four U.S. dance-radio number ones: “So Hot,” “Picture Us,” “Underwater,” and “Waiting for You.” The Southern California singer, songwriter, record producer and DJ has become closely associated with vocal-led house music through collaborations with artists including Hot Natured, Kaskade, MK, Tchami and Benny Benassi.

Born September 1, 1992, Englund released her debut album, Messing with Magic, in December 2020. Issued through Ultra Music and AREA10, the record compiled the singles she released during that year, including “So Hot,” “Picture Us” and “Underwater.” A deluxe edition followed a few months later and added “Waiting for You,” completing the set of four dance-radio chart leaders.

Working across house, electronic and pop, Englund combines songwriting and lead vocals with production and DJ work. Her collaborations have placed her voice in several strands of contemporary dance music, from house-focused records with Hot Natured and MK to releases with Kaskade, Tchami and Benny Benassi.
