Alesso
Alesso emerged from Stockholm's dance-music circuit to become one of the Swedish producers singled out during EDM's global rise. Born Alessandro Renato Rodolfo Lindblad on 7 July 1991, he works as a DJ and record producer under the name Alesso. MTV named him one of its “EDM Rookies to Watch” in 2012, while Madonna invited him to open selected dates on her MDNA Tour and described him as “the next big thing in dance music.”
His work moves across house, progressive house, big room, electro house and pop-oriented dance production. Alesso has collaborated with artists including Swedish House Mafia, Martin Garrix, Tove Lo, Theo Hutchcraft, OneRepublic, Hailee Steinfeld, Calvin Harris, Katy Perry, Anitta, Usher, Zara Larsson, David Guetta, Liam Payne, Ty Dolla Sign, TINI and Stray Kids. His debut full-length album, Forever, arrived through Def Jam Recordings in 2015.
Alesso's live career has included appearances at Coachella, Electric Daisy Carnival, Creamfields, Tomorrowland and Ultra Music Festival. DJ Magazine placed him at number 13 in its Top 100 DJs list for 2015, followed by number 20 in 2016.
