Endowed with one of the most remarkable voices of the early 21st century and outstanding talent, the celebrated Alicia Keys is a noted, award-winning R&B singer, songwriter, and record producer. She was born on January 25, 1981, in New York.
Her debut album Songs in A Minor launched her career, making her the best-selling new artist of 2001. Her subsequent album The Diary of Alicia Keys (2003) and her contribution to the MTV Unplugged series in 2005 further solidified her position at the pinnacle of the pop and R&B scene. Her most notable hits include powerful ballads like “Fallin’,” “If I Ain’t Got You,” and “No One.”
On January 15, 2019, Pop/R&B icon and 15-time GRAMMY winner Alicia Keys was announced as the host of the 61st Annual GRAMMY Awards. This marked the first time Keys would serve as the master of ceremonies for Music’s Biggest Night.
Alicia Keys, originally named Alicia Augello-Cook, has been married to rapper and producer Swizz Beatz since 2010 with whom she shares two children: Egypt Daoud and Genesis Ali.
