20 Vision Recordings
20/20 Vision started in a farmhouse studio outside Leeds in the mid-nineties, run by Ralph Lawson and Carl Finlow. Lawson had been a resident at Back to Basics in the city since 1991, and the label took its name from an argument with the times: house was splitting into ever finer categories, and perfect vision was the answer to that.
It never picked a lane and hasn't since. The catalogue runs to close on five hundred releases across three decades, deep house through nu disco and past both, and the thirtieth anniversary was marked with Full Circle, a compilation pairing rarities with new remixes.
