Ronald “Ron” Trent (Ronald Lee Trent Jr.) is an American house music DJ and record producer from Chicago. Working under his own name and a wide range of aliases, he has been associated with styles that include Chicago house, deep house, classic house, broken beat, minimal tech house, and techno.

Trent has also been credited as a co-owner of Prescription, a label he ran with fellow Chicago DJ and producer Chez Damier.
