The Shapeshifters is the alias of British house producer Simon Marlin, previously used by a duo made up of Marlin and Swedish producer Max Reich of Gothenburg. The act first became widely known with its debut single, “Lola’s Theme,” which reached No. 1 on the UK Singles Chart in July 2004.
In its earlier form as a duo, The Shapeshifters were signed to Positiva. Since 2008, the project has been signed to Defected Records. The name has also appeared in variant forms, including Les Shapeshifters, Shape : UK, Shape UK, and Shapeshifters.
